Dehradun-On July 14, 2025, People For People Foundation India (PPFI) and DBS University joined forces to organize a successful plantation drive. The event kicked off at 10:30 am, with approximately 250 trees planted by the PPFI team and DBS University students. The diverse range of trees included mango, amla, litchi, sal, mulberry, and guava.
The drive was spearheaded by PPFI founder, Mrs. Pankhuri Joshi, alongside Mrs. Ankur Gupta and Mrs. Anjum Agarwal, President of DBS Group. Mr. Ramesh Joshi played a key role in executing the event flawlessly.
Additionally, the team identified potential risks to the young plants from cattle grazing and proposed installing barbed wire fencing to mitigate this issue. To ensure the long-term success of the plantation, local villagers have been entrusted with the responsibility of caring for the land and plants.
